Lærke Emilie

Lærke Emilie is an independent solo artist raised in Vejle and living in Copenhagen. She has her own record label, writes her own songs, and creates her own artwork and visuals. In 2016 she won DR’s Karrierekanonen and has since added more than 15 songs to her back catalog. Lærke Emilie writes honest Danish-language catchy tunes inspired by hip hop, house and the R&B scene. She is best known for her three singles Gør Det Med Mig, Trailer and Vægge Af Guld, which have all been in rotation on P3, and her latest single Sirener was highlighted by Politiken, P3 and P4. About her music, Lærke Emilie says: “The greatest function of my songs is to speak to those who, like me, find life difficult to navigate. I want to tell them (and myself) that you don’t necessarily lose anything just because you feel lost from time to time.
