She has distinguished herself with placements on Spotify’s coveted playlist “New Music Friday” with her self-produced single, (Not) Okay. She has achieved airplay on DR P4, P3, NOVA Fm and several foreign radio stations. At the same time, Nille Nyc touches her audience live, and has played as a headliner at Grønnegade Kaserne Kulturhus and Tapperiet in Køge. Nille’s latest single, Mothership 2.0, challenges parenting and premiered on NOVA Fm on release day. Nille says about the song: “Mothership 2.0 is about allowing yourself to collapse in order to be reborn in a better version. We must dare to give ourselves breathing spaces along the way in life so that we achieve a sustainable life, rather than sprinting to the finish line, which always moves anyway…”.

Who is the woman behind it?

Before releasing her debut single in 2018, Nille spent more than 10 years working as a civil engineer. She still mixes her music with her work as an engineer and believes that the mix provides the energy for a sustainable career. Nille is an expression of a necessary diversity in the world of music, showing other artists and fans that age is not an obstacle, but a strength.
