NorRaun

It’s melodic pop that pounds away, with vocals that have their roots in the strong singers of the 80s such as Anne Linnet and Sanne Salomonsen. The soundscape is big and packed with pulsating synthesizers reminiscent of 80s Nena and the electro wave of the 00s with VETO and Spleen United as inspiration. Underneath it all, the drums powerfully whip everything forward without looking back in the slightest.

The lyrics are honest, direct and to the point. NorRaun consists of Annamaria Anhalt: Lyricist and melody writer, lead vocalist, guitarist and sound geek. Marlene Faddersbøll: Drummer and the brains behind all the arrangements. Debut album #1 was released in 2022 in collaboration with Gateway Music The summer of 2023 has been a magical journey for NorRaun with several gigs around Denmark, including Musikhuset Slagelse, Raschs Pakhuz, Fatter Eskild, Cafe Støj and more.

In addition, NorRaun has visited several festivals around Denmark, including Mosstock, Grundfør, ik så ringe festival etc. with great audience success. The single “Jeg har” has been fantastically received and has been played several times by Jørgen de Mylius in Eldorado on DR P5, on Radio 40+ de hemmelige hits and has achieved more than 40,000 plays on Spotify alone.
